About this project

sqr.art turns your image into a QR code where the picture is the code. Instead of pasting a logo on top and hoping error correction survives, the image is encoded into the QR's data and error-correction bits, then rendered as a colour halftone. Every code is decoded back by a real reader and checked against its URL before it ships, so nothing unscannable goes out.

Codes are dynamic: you can change the destination after printing, and you get scan statistics. Beyond links, sqr.art makes WiFi access codes and SEPA payment codes. Each code comes as PNG, print-ready SVG and PDF, in several styles.

Preview for free without an account, and pay only when you like the result: 5 โ‚ฌ once per code, yours for life. Subscriptions add unlimited codes, smart redirect rules (device, schedule, A/B) and CSV export (Pro), plus API, webhooks, batch generation and custom domains (Business). If a code does not scan in real life, it gets fixed or refunded.

Popular for restaurant menus, business cards, wedding invitations, packaging, hotels and WiFi signs. The engine is open source (MIT, PHP).
