About this project

SeoMap is a Google Maps rank tracker built for local SEO agencies, freelancers and multi-location businesses. Instead of checking one ranking from one spot, SeoMap measures visibility across a whole service area and shows the result as a geo-grid heatmap.

How it works: choose a business, a keyword and a grid size from 5x5 up to 21x21 points. SeoMap runs the Google Maps search at every grid point, either as a live scan or through the scan queue, and colors each point by position. Green areas show where the business appears near the top of the local results, red areas show where it drops out and competitors take over.

Metrics: every scan reports Average Rank Position (ARP), Average Total Rank Position (ATRP) and Share of Local Voice (SoLV). For each grid point you can see the top 20 businesses, and a competitor leaderboard shows who wins across the area.

Tracking over time: weekly or monthly recurring scans keep the data current without manual restarts, and the ranking history makes changes after optimization work visible. Business profile change monitoring flags edits to the Google Business Profile.

Reporting: share links and report exports turn scans into client-ready reports. The Agency plan adds white-label reports and CSV bulk scans for many locations.

Workflow and data: Google Search Console import, keyword suggestions with Google Ads search volume, a read-only REST API, an AI-generated analysis after every scan that explains visibility gaps and competitor patterns, and an optional AI sentiment analysis of Google reviews.

Pricing: new accounts get 500 free trial credits without a credit card. Paid plans are Starter (EUR 29/month), Pro (EUR 79/month) and Agency (EUR 199/month), plus a lifetime plan that uses your own DataForSEO access. SeoMap runs in the browser in English, German and Spanish.
