London Gold Exchange

London Gold Exchange is a free website for people in the UK who want to value or sell gold.

• Gold calculator: enter the weight and carat (9ct to 24ct) to see what the gold is worth at today's UK price per gram, and roughly what a dealer would offer. Try the calculator
• Daily prices: gold, silver and platinum per gram, updated daily from LBMA market data.
• Dealer directory: 242 UK gold dealers organised by city.
• Guides: selling scrap gold, sovereigns and bullion, and what ID dealers ask for.

It's a side project built with Next.js and Supabase; a scheduled job updates the prices each day. The site doesn't buy gold, and some dealer links are affiliate links.

Feedback welcome, especially on the calculator and on whether the city dealer pages are useful.
