A ceramics kiln is the original interval machine: a firing schedule is nothing but segments โ ramp, hold, ramp again, cool โ and the kiln signals each change without anyone standing at the spyhole all night. The maker sleeps; the schedule runs.
Intertakt is an interval timer for HIIT, Tabata and rounds built on that same trust. Set the plan once โ work lengths, rests, rounds, EMOM stations โ press start, and the phone stops being a screen you consult: every segment change is spoken over your own playlist, with countdown beeps in the final seconds, each channel at its own volume. The session keeps running with the display off; an incoming call holds the firing rather than cancelling it, and the workout resumes from the exact second it stopped.
The terms are workshop-simple: 0 ads, โ sessions, 0 accounts, unlimited free tier, and Premium is a one-time purchase โ custom plans, history, JSON export. Built with Flutter, offline-first. Pre-release: coming soon to Google Play; the waitlist and founding pricing are open at intertakt.com.
