About this project
GetYouTubeTranscript turns YouTube videos into text. Paste a link to get a clean transcript, or use the REST API to fetch transcripts, search YouTube, and list channel and playlist videos. It also works as a remote MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, as an n8n community node, and as a Chrome extension that lets you ask AI questions about any video.
