Cross Stitch Pattern Generator turns your own photo (a pet, a portrait, a house, a child's drawing) into a printable cross stitch chart.

You choose the stitch count, fabric count and number of thread colors, and every color is matched to a DMC floss. The printable PDF has a symbol chart and a color chart of the same pattern, a color key with DMC numbers and skein counts, and a floss shopping list. Large patterns are split across pages with overlap.

The preview is free in your browser and needs no account. The printable PDF is $5.99 one-off per photo, and re-exporting the same photo at another size or color count costs nothing extra. Uploaded photos are used only to create the pattern and are deleted within 24 hours.
